The Design

The white colorway is the purest expression of the collaboration. Built almost entirely in premium leather, it carries the familiar Air Force 1 proportions while layering in the codes of Louis Vuitton at every turn.

The Swoosh is embossed with the LV Monogram. The Louis Vuitton signature runs along the lateral panel, and Abloh's own mark appears in the detailing — a debossed Damier pattern, gold-tone hardware, and the co-branded tongue that leaves no doubt about the two names behind it. Nothing is loud. Everything is precise.

A Designer's Legacy

This shoe cannot be separated from the man who made it. Virgil Abloh — founder of Off-White, artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear, and one of the most influential designers of his generation — conceived this collaboration as a statement about who luxury is for. Released after his passing in late 2021, it became both a celebration and a farewell.

The proceeds from the original auction of these shoes were directed to the Virgil Abloh "Post-Modern" Scholarship Fund, supporting Black students in fashion. The design carries that intention with it.
