The Barchetta

Named after the Italian word for a little boat, the Barchetta is long and sleek, with gently flared sides — an East-West silhouette that sits neatly under the arm. Two slender handles keep it close to the body, and a fold-over flap runs the full width of the front. The Details

The design is pared back to a few deliberate lines. A fold-over flap spans the front from end to end, and the two handles are stitched down over it, framing the bag like a pair of brackets. In suede the effect is soft and tactile; in croc-embossed cowhide it turns sharper and more formal.
