A top-handle bag in oil-waxed leather, with a curved top and contrast stitching.

Named after the calesse, the light open carriage once seen on Italian country roads, the Calesse is a top-handle bag with a curved top and a softly framed body. Cut in genuine oil-waxed cowhide, it holds its shape without feeling rigid in the hand, and picks up a patina where it is held — the color deepening, unevenly and beautifully, over the first year.

The Details

Two rolled handles carry it short; a detachable strap takes it across the body. Contrast topstitching traces the panels, and a zip across the top closes the whole bag. Inside, the space is divided into compartments, with a zip pocket and a phone pocket.
