The Piega

A fold-over clutch cut from a single panel of leather — no frame, no clasp.

Named after the Italian word for a fold, the Piega is exactly that: a single panel of genuine cowhide that folds over on itself and stays shut. No frame, no clasp on the outside, nothing to catch on a sleeve — the fold is the entire design, and the bag reads as one clean shape from across a room.

The Details

Ten inches across and light enough, at around 400 g, to carry all evening without a second thought. It is unlined, so you are holding leather on both sides, and a slip pocket inside keeps a card or key in place. The grain carries a soft luster that catches the light as the leather creases.

The Palette

Twelve shades, from classic to luminous: Beige White, Black, Brown, Camel, Coffee, Green, Lavender, Light Blue, Pure White, Red, Silver and Sky Blue. Several are finished with a metallic sheen.
