The Salotto

A soft suede shoulder bag with a twist-lock flap, in three sizes and several finishes.

Named after the Italian word for a drawing room — the room where guests are received — the Salotto has the ease of a well-kept home. Its body is cut in genuine suede and shaped by a wide flap that closes with a twist-lock, beneath a curved top handle. Made in three sizes, it carries by hand, on the shoulder or on a detachable strap.

I.

The Details

The flap closes with a polished twist-lock, and a leather key bell or hanging tab finishes the front. Some versions pair the suede with a smooth leather handle and gold-tone hardware; others are suede throughout with silver-tone hardware. Inside, a zip pocket keeps the essentials in reach.

The Palette

Coffee, Camel, Green, Gray and Red, each in one or more finishes: suede with a leather handle, suede with gold-tone or silver-tone hardware, or suede throughout. A leopard-print suede and two versions edged in shearling complete the range.
