The Tannino

A soft, slouchy hobo in vegetable-tanned cowhide — made to deepen with every year of wear.

Named after the Italian word for tannin, the Tannino honours the natural process behind its leather. It is cut from vegetable-tanned cowhide — a slow, natural tanning method that lets leather deepen and develop a rich patina over time. The shape is relaxed by design: a gathered top, a soft body that settles as it is carried, and a single handle that rests easily on the shoulder. It comes in two sizes, Medium and Large.

The Details

The handle is fastened at each end with a buckled leather tab, a detail that frames the gathered top. A long zip runs across the opening and parts wide to reveal a lined interior with a zip pocket for the small things — keys, cards, a lipstick.

The Palette

Two shades, two sizes. Black is quiet and polished; Red Brown is warm and deep, and shows off the character of vegetable-tanned leather as it ages. Both are offered in Medium and Large.
